The Friendly Witches And Ghosts - Part 2

When the witches and the ghosts found their friends hiding in the woods, they looked sad, hungry and scared. The witches went over to one of the children they knew and asked what was going on. They told them that an evil spirit had come to town with scary monsters and that his witches had done spells everywhere to start fires and take the sun away.

This is terrible the ghosts said. How could he do that the witches said. They sat down and one of the witches cast a spell to make some food appear. Thanks said the children. Don't be scared, said the ghosts, you'll see everything will be alright soon. We'll do some magic and some haunting and the evil spirit and his monsters will be too scared to come back.

They started planning a way to get the ghost back and get rid of his monsters. They would have to break the magic spells his witches had done and this wouldn’t be easy. How would they get the evil spirit out of the town and take away the magic he had done? There must be a way. After the children had finished eating the witches and ghosts began to leave. Tell the others we'll be back soon. Of course the children tried to tell the others that the witches and ghosts were going to scare the evil spirit away but not many believed them. They were too upset and just told them to go to sleep.

Three whole days passed by and things stayed the same. Then suddenly one morning one of the children started shouting and waking everyone up. The sun was shining again and the flowers and trees had come back. Everybody knew what had happened and that it was the friendly witches and ghosts who had sent the evil spirit, his witches and scary monsters away.

That night the whole town had a party. They made special food and planned some games for the ghosts and spell wishes for the witches. Everybody was very happy and they all danced and laughed until it was very late. They even dressed up as witches and ghosts. They were so happy to be at home again and gave them some money. They promised the friendly witches and ghosts that every year they would have a special party to celebrate just for them.
